BASES TECNOLOGICAS PARA AVANCES EN LA AGRICULTURA TUCUMANA: CALCULOS DE OPORTUNIDADES Y RIESGOS
Abstract
La cogeneración es una tecnología ampliamente desarrollada e
introducida en el sector industrial. Una de las aplicaciones de la cogeneración es la
combustión de un recurso natural que permita el movimiento de sistemas y
mecanismos capaces de producir energía para ser aprovechada por el ser humano en
la aplicación de trabajo, para lo cual se requiere pues de un elemento base de
consumo llamado combustible, un proceso de extracción de energía del elemento,
usualmente un proceso de combustión, un sistema de convertibilidad de esa energía
que permita su aprovechamiento mecánico y luego todo un equilibrado sistema de
distribución para el uso propiamente dicho. En un gran número de procesos o plantas
existen al menos dos formas dominantes de energía, la térmica y la eléctrica.
Comúnmente ellas se tratan en forma separada, es decir, la energía eléctrica se
contrata con la distribuidora local y la térmica se produce en situaciones mediante
calderas. La idea básica de la cogeneración es aumentar el rendimiento global
integrando los dos sistemas energéticos. Como resultado, el sistema combinado
entrega una mayor eficiencia y menores costos que realizando la operación de cada
recurso energético separadamente.
El proyecto tiene como finalidad hacer un diseño para utilizar esta fuente
renovable de energía (Maloja y Bagazo), que no contamina en gran escala al medio
ambiente y generar una reducción en el consumo de gas natural.
Con vistas también a un futuro de su utilización para la generación de
electricidad.
